About us
Company
Nordic Consulting & Development Company is a Polish company located in Szczecin, Poland. Our capital comes from Denmark.
Since 2002 we have been producing software and providing IT services tailored to large financial institutions. It have been found helpful especially among European insurance companies.
History

Everything began in 2002 when Pawel, our Founder, saw children playing Lego Mindstorms blocks. Those children were programming what they were constructing, and it occurred to Pawel that since children could do that, maybe also managers would manage to do so if a friendly enough interface would be created for them.
Knowing the nature of insurance office work expertly, Pawel noticed that many tasks performed by people are mechanical, brainless acts, which could be equally well done by machine. This is possible because companies have usually got procedures related to customer service.
However, the system we created, hasn't caused redundancies, but vice versa. Workers could be assigned with more demanding tasks and thanks to it, the functioning of company was improved, the offer was enlarged and new people were employed.
Our system is called PCM - Process Control Management. It automates work in big institutions, but it is different than typical workflow system - not only passing tasks between people, but also doing tasks by itself. PCM has been in action for over four years at our customers in Danmark and Faroes for over four years. Meanwhile, we have been developing new PCM versions with several additional features.
Our business partners use TIA system - The Insurance Application, the product of our partner, TIA Technologies. PCM can supplement TIA with high level services. Thanks to deep understanding of TIA and already deployed PCMs, we were able to provide our customers with TIA consulting services. TIA system, which is, however, very general, needs to be applied to the legal system of a given country or specificity of a company. We do handle these issues.
We use both consulting and developing competences while implementing TIA system at the new TIA partners.
